For just about the entire offseason, we have been preaching that the Caps need to make a move and sign someone, anyone, to make their team better. After two disappointing postseasons in a row, you would think the front office would be aggressive when it came to filling holes on the team.

A little man looking to make a big impact

The Washington Capitals have recalled center Mathieu Perreault from the Hershey Bears of the American Hockey League (AHL) and assigned center Keith Aucoin to Hershey, vice president and general manager George McPhee announced today.
