When my wife and I entered the Verizon Center, we were team-agnostic. Sure, we both were rooting for li’l Bemidji State as the uber-underdogs… but really, all we wanted was to see two good hockey games.
Well, until we sat down for the second game.

Whose Rafters Are These?

They sure don’t look like the Verizon Center’s, do they? But all other banners (and the Canadian flag) were removed from the Phone Booth’s rafters and replaced with those of the Frozen Four’s champions.

Frozen Four Buzz (and Loot)

The Marriott (12th & H) where Miami & Bemidji State are staying is buzzing with anticipation. The lobby was filled with supporters of both teams clad in their respective school’s gear. One of the teams was boarding a bus to go to the Phone Booth during my visit.
