Two things are terribly wrong with this video. First, Philadelphia’s Danny Briere claims that his head-hunting of Saturday night, for which he was suspended a modest three games by the NHL (as a “repeat offender” in his own words), was “more like a push.” Yea, and Isles’ netminder Rick DiPietro is accustomed to instigating a defense of his teammates over pushes.
Second, we don’t at all like this serial attacker’s proximity to Lisa Hillary.

Phooey on Danny Boy. He’s a certified punk.
Now on to the subject of Hillary, whom your blog lamented to the point of telling the readers we would be lost without her. I like the new person assigned by Comcast. She is doing just fine, thank you very much. Having Hillary and El Bashir departing their posts in such a short order is purely coincidental and does not relate to the sport of hockey or the Washington Capitals, for that matter. That said, I wish both the aforementioned (Lisa and Tarik) all the best in their new assignments. Best wishes to both – but we are doing fine without them, thanks very much for your previous service to the sport here in the National Capital Region.
i like the new kid, but someone needs to give her a pronunciation guide for the tough names. it’s kind of agonizing, listening to her mangle them. give her a break though– she’s still learning.
I liked Lisa Hillary. Wish her the best. I see it as a loss for Comcast. Another face I havent seen in a while except for recently here is Tara Wheeler. She should cover more hockey. I like her with the fans and the Redskins. She did some coverage of our tailgate. But if we have lost Lisa at least get us a girl who knows hockey.
