Through the years of OFB’s existence, we’ve received numerous pictures from our readers. This week we received what may be our favorites. It’s timing was impeccable and it takes the cake for distance traveled.
As a season ticket holder and dedicated OFB reader, I wanted to send you a few pictures from my Olympic break. I took the time to visit *real* penguins territory and rock the red – just another example of Capitals Country taking over. The “Antarctica” Picture is from an island off the Antarctic Peninsula, about 64 degrees 43′ south. The “South Georgia” is from the island of South Georgia, and has the Salisbury Plain King Penguin colony (hundreds of thousands of penguins) in the background. Notice none of the penguins want to get near me – they fear the red. Hope you enjoy!
