0:45 of 15:00 Consumed

For those craving Capitals goodies even during these Olympic times, check out the return of the Red Line Report this coming Monday night. For those who can’t wait ’til then, the previous two weeks’ episodes are available online per the Caps’ press release:

The third episode of Capitals Red Line presented by GEICO, a fast-paced, behind-the-scenes look at the team, airs on Monday, March 1 at 9:30 p.m. on Comcast SportsNet. The episode, which features “Cruisin” with Capitals coach Bruce Boudreau and a behind-the-scenes look at the Capitals Convention, will also be replayed on Comcast SportsNet and through On Demand where available. The first two episodes are now available online at WashingtonCaps.com (Feb. 23 episode and Feb. 15 episode).

In case you missed the debut episode, I officially burned about 45 seconds of my Warhol-allocated 15:00 minutes of fame; Mike Vogel, Steve Kolbe, and I each discussed the pros and cons of Capitals playing in the Olympics. Given that yesterday all the Caps’ players’ Winter Games ended, it’s good to remember the silver lining of additional rest for the team’s stars. My mom, at least, was pretty tickled to see me on TV.

I had absolutely no idea that this was back, and virtually all I do at night is watch Comcast Sportsnet. That’s not very good marketing right there.
