Not Quite the Confidence and Swagger Associated with a Five-Time Champ
By The OFB Team

Meh, happens all over the world. It’s not about confidence or swagger. It’s about morning shock jocks needing something to focus their ADD.
I’m guessing this wouldn’t be as easy for Canadian Morning Zoo Radio hosts if the tournament wasn’t in Canada every other year.
There will be a lot of tears in Canada tonight if John Carlson and Team USA win.
I’m going with Don Cherry as being the mastermind behind this!
Go J. Carlson and Team USA!
nice screenshot, does your video card need glasses?
With Twitter blocked at work, it was done with a mobile phone. Will fix it later.
Sheesh.
Nine-straight gold medal finals, five-straight gold medal wins and you expect there not to be trepidation at being knocked off the perch? Come on.
People who are calling for a Canada win get knocked for being arrogant so you really can’t win, can you?
Besides, it’s radio shock jocks. Who cares?
@Shane: I don’t think Canada calling for a win is arrogant and I’m rooting for Team USA to win, btw. Team Canada and their fans have reason to be cocky. Like you said, nine straight gold medal finals, and five straight gold medal wins – That is definitely something to be proud of.
However, to say who cares? Well, you obviously do. You took the time to not only read what the OFB Team put up, but comment on it. OFB is doing what they do best.. bringing the world news as it relates to hockey.
I don’t care what the radio jocks said. I care about the direction OFB took it.
Now to wait for Buffalo next year and to hope for the start of a new streak
@Shane: My fault. I assumed that since you said “who cares” after you pointed out it was coming from radio jocks, that you were referring to them, and not OFB’s take on it.
The game last night was beyond entertaining. Both teams played outstanding. I must admit, I was a little worried after Eberle drained two in the third to tie the game. Wish I could’ve been there. Ah well, there’s always a next year!
I was at the game last night. Unbelievable atmosphere in there when Eberle scored the two late ones to tie it up. Nobody sat down from the tying goal until the puck was dropped for overtime. The U.S. deserved to win as they out-skated and out-worked the Canadian team.
One Trackback/Pingback
[...] is” tired of ‘Hockey Canada’ and its arrogance” is as short-sighted as believing that radio jockeys pranks actually mean anything. (yes that’s me commenting [...]
