I’d do it except that the plate has the weagle, which is the worst Caps logo EVER……….I’ll settle for a bumper sticker with the primary logo, thanks.

Come on Virgina Unlce Ted says your the primary fan base of the Caps. Lets See It!!! My Maryland Caps plates are already getting dinged up and stained from bugs and tar. I’ll have to get another set before you guys ante up to even get your first set. Lets Go VA. And of Course LETS GO CAPS!!!

To shed further light on the question about the fee, please see this link: http://www.dmv.virginia.gov/webdoc/pdf/platesponsor_special.pdf. All of those specialty plates you see out there cost the same, as stipulated by the Code of Virginia. Caps Charities (I believe) will be the organization that shares the revenue for these plates as required by the Code.

I signed up for mine last month – can’t wait to rock that bad boy on my red car!

That’s how the Commonwealth operates specialty plates. The Caps have no say in that matter. And it’s $25/year.

Sign up for a year, then go back to the state issued, no fee plates. You’ll have a souvenir to go with your other Caps stuff.

Why the $30 ANNUAL fee for a VA Caps plate? I’d do it for a 1-time only fee, but not annual.

I’m sending ours in today … my daughter, who is an avid Semin fan, is turning 16 on Jan. 1. So we will get this for the car that she will drive … herself back and forth to the rink for her practices!! Hallelujah, I won’t have to do that anymore.

Sweet. I’ve already told my parents that I’m copying their info from their vehicle registration on Christmas Day and signing them up as well.

Once the plates are established, the minimum number to keep them in circulation drops.
