Rob Kowal from NY Hockey Talk recently chatted with Mike Gartner about his days in the league. The interview was obviously slanted towards Gartner’s time with the Rangers, but he did talk about the Caps-Rangers series when the Rangers lost the first round of the ’91 playoffs against his former team. Gartner also shared funny stories about how, after he was drafted, he had to pull out a map to find D.C. (he originally thought it was on the West Coast) and about a limo ride passing by the Cap Centre.
