Capsrus,

I remember 'AirAbe,' the plane the old owner purchased to serve his basketball and hockey teams years back. I don't have the specifics of its fiscal demise, but it also had a basic and unsolvable problem: the two teams often travel coincidentally, and so who gets the plane? The Caps do charter today.

Thanks for this post. Glad I'm not the only one who has wondered about the overall logistics of moving a hockey team - much less on back2back nights. One (maybe dumb) question though - how do the flights work? I assume the Caps charter with someone. Leonsis hasn't sprung for Caps Force One yet, has he?
