The killer instinct, is an important thing to have. And the Caps are not displaying it.
Another 2 points for 40 minutes of quality hockey, Varly deserved a better result.
no attempt to even control the puck in the third period, playing keep away in the third is not the way to finish the game as we’ve seen in these kinds of contests…however it is early and we did get the two points, march on caps!
The Caps should have won this 6-0. These lolly-gagging third periods are no good.
You guys. You lollygag the ball around the infield. You lollygag your way down to first. You lollygag in and out of the dugout. You know what that makes you? Larry!

Agreed… and Coach knows it too. Though it’s hard to complain at 8-2-2, and I’m glad they’re having those issues now rather than in the playoffs.
