Here is a small bit of OFB housekeeping. The four of us who started the blog posted regularly to a Yahoo! Group discussing the Caps. Really thinking nothing of it, we kept our “screen names” when posting on OFB. I happened to use “Gustafsson” taken from my all time favorite Capitals player Bengt Gustafsson.
When starting the blog, and certainly when participating on various Caps discussion lists, I never thought the Caps would have another “Gustafsson” playing for them. Though Anton has yet to make the big club, I thought the start of rookie camp was as good a time as any to change my blogging name. I’ve long had my real name in the “About Us” section and starting now, it will be reflected in the posts, too.
With that being said, we now return you to your regular blog coverage.
