Today’s Examiner file from Dmitry Chesnokov is even more bizarre than yesterday’s; in it he doesn’t merely suggest that Viktor Kozlov has left the Caps and the NHL for good, but cites a new interview Kozlov had with SovetskySport in which the right wing claims to have had a return to Russia in mind even before signing with the Caps two years ago. Wow.
Anyway, there’s a top-six right wing spot now open in D.C.

–¥–æ —Å–?–?–¥–?–?–?—è (in Cyrillic) I was using Viktor’s Russian nickname. Well, at the rate we’re going, we’ll be saying “Do Svidaniya” to several other Caps, including possibly Fedorov, Brashear, and Nylander.
Dang.
NO loss in loosing Fedorov, Brashear, and Nylander however Kozlov is a lose but one that we can handle.
