Tuesday night was louder than a Springsteen encore. I was upstairs in 400 and I couldn’t steady myself to take pictures as the arena was shaking. Unbelievable atmosphere!
Tuesday evening was absolutely insane, especially after Fedorov scored. I couldn’t hear the people next to me, behind me, or in front of me. I could barely hear the referees’ whistles. It was like being on an airplane tarmac – I’d guess that dangerous decibel levels were involved.
I watched the reply on Comcast SportsNet, and you could hear that Joe B and Locker were shouting at the end, and they kept commenting on the volume.
What scares me is, I think it has the potential to get louder the deeper we go.
That second option is really funny when viewed from the perspective of a regular poster on the Caps message boards. lol
Loudest crowd I’ve ever heard anywhere.
