Today’s Nationals home opener was, like most Nats games, not much to watch. However, the real fun of the game was in the crowd. Chanuck wore his red Caps t-shirt and was like a rock star everywhere we went throughout the stadium. He was constantly getting fist bumps and “Let’s Go Caps” cheers from other similarly-clad fans, of which there were many. That includes the jersey we saw at the right. Baseball jersey foul? Does he lose more points for tucking it in? You decide.
However, two of my favorite fans were the ladies who customized their blue Snuggies with a giant, glittery curly W on the front. Perhaps a red Snuggie with a big Weagle is in order for the playoffs?

Ugh – poor choice on tucking in. Last time I saw worse was at the Capital Centre and a woman had tucked her Caps jersey in her jeans. As for the snuggies? Nice!
A Caps snuggie is man-card revoking offense.
For the love of all that is holy, dont ever where a snuggie to a hockey game. you will look like a fool. Snuggies are like adult diapers, meant for the sick and incontinent, and the elderly, only to worn out of site of others.
Steinz has a picture of the Snuggies at his Sports Bog.

#8 needs to be in the Nats’ starting rotation, rather obviously. The Times’ Thom Loverro called it “The Frozen Four.” Hah.
