   But there is something to be said about the effects of global warming and VC ice. After all, Sid is sitting out due to his tender loins being bruised up. Just not sure if it’s fair to draw that conclusion when there are so many other possible reasons.

    I was at last weekends games and I saw how bad the ice was. I was wondering if any of the OFB crew could explain to the readers if this is ever going to change? It looks like this is a ongoing issue. The ice was a concern in the playoff series between the CAPS and Flyers….I hope it does not become a issue when the Capitals head into the Playoffs this year. I understand that the V center is used for a lot of events but the CAPS should have the best ice that’s available when playoff time comes. Does anyone have a answer for me?
