Those of you with a newborn, or a toddler for that matter, know that you’ll occaionally be awake with the TV on and your child full awake at ungodly hours — like Saturday mornings at 4am. That happened to me this morning. While cursing the hour at which I was awake, I started scanning the “On Demand” offerings on DirecTV.
I immediately hit the RECORD button when I saw the “Trailer Park Boys” listed in the available downloads. A quick Google search lead me to this article on TV Week:
DirecTV’s The 101 Network will broadcast the Canadian comedy “Trailer Park Boys.”
The TV series will make its debut on the network on Feb. 5 with two
back-to-back episodes. Two new episodes will follow every Thursday
night at 10 p.m.DirecTV has acquired all seven seasons of the show, including 55 half-hour episodes and two specials.
Half of OFB has raved about this series — without passing along DVD of said show to their fellow bloggers, mind you — for years. I now have the series set to record. I hope the build-up isn’t bigger than the show itself.

It helps if you’re a fan of the “f” word, pot, beer, and/or pepperoni. Come to think of it, partaking of the above while watching the show is the best way to go.
Don’t forget your Rum n’ coke!
