We may not have hockey to watch these days, but there’s plenty of Caps-related print media to consume today, and the Washington Times again has to be credited for its coverage. Three separate Caps’ hockey files there today:
- Thom Loverro’s mid-season state of the Caps look, with terrific reflections from General Manager George McPhee.
- Corey Masisak’s file on the assignments to the American League yesterday of Alzner, Helmer, and Machesney.
- And last but by far not least, Tim Lemke’s most meritorious feature on Caps’ television play-by-play personality Joe Beninati, which includes a heart-felt reflection from yours truly.
And by all means give a read to USA Today’s lengthy feature on Caps’ coach Bruce Boudreau. It includes some heart-warming anecdotes about the coach’s callup from Hershey last season.
