Classic Images from a Classic Game

It’s been seven days since the 2009 Winter Classic ushered in the new year in grand style; thankfully Mother Nature provided perfect hockey weather in Chicago.

Unfortunately we in Washington were D.C. were not so lucky last night . . . uncooperative weather forced the Capitals to cancel a scheduled outdoor skating session last night, so the pond-hockey Caps photos we’d planned to provide to you this morning were not to be.

Instead, we we’d like to share with you some terrific images from the Winter Classic shot by friend of OFB Tony Fletcher. Click the images for larger versions; we hope you enjoy them!
