On Frozen Blog

A Haven for the Hockey Malnourished

The coldest days best warm my hockey heart

Answering the Call to Emergency Guest-Blog

Champagne glassesI received a novel and fun request deep into last night's game at Verizon Center, via text message: Hockey Mom, author of the blog Musings from a Hockey Mom, was attending the game as part of a Girls' Night Out during the holidays. One thing puck soda apparently led to another (round), and Hockey Mom felt herself mildly incapacitated to render her usual erudite observations on the game.

"Will you blog 4 me?" my phone screen read with 5 minutes to go in the third period. "Really I am 2 tipsy."

Really, on Hockey Night in Washington, during the holidays, and among child-rearing and career ladies whose leisure time is precious and at a premium, can there be any censure?

So, happily I obliged Hockey Mom's request, and my musings can be found on her site this morning here.

Sadly, most everything I post is composed behind a veneer of tipsy-ness.

Nice of you to help a blogger in need, though!

Strato, FWIW, some of literature's most towering figures of achievement did likewise.
