I think a combonation of excitement for the Caps game at night and the Nebraska/Clemson game kind of got in the way of my Winter Classic enjoyment though, so I will admit I was distracted.

I was at the game, and it was awesome. Im angry the Hawks only played one period, but it was an awesome event. Lets hope the Caps play in it next yeear.

Y’know, I have to say that my wife and I were glued to the broadcast. So much fun and, until the last 5th Detroit goal or so, a very entertaining game.

Frankly I wasn’t as excited about this Winter Classic as I was last year’s. I liked the choice of teams this year, but I was never too keen on the location, and feared a blow out (It’s 6-3 now). Although I am glad that stars suck as Kane and Toews are getting exposure than another round of Crosby. Overall it was a good Winter Classic but I wasn’t glued to the game like I was last year.
