You mistook the the “16-year” pro part. The Caps called up two players, Bryan Helmer has been a professional player for 16 years.
Andrew Gordon was born in 1985.

I always sort of joke about hockey players saying, oh when he learns to shave, must be 14 yrs old, even when they are mid 20s b/c some just look SO young – yeah, even when they are out on the ice doing some crunchy checking.
I was almost going to say that here for Andrew Gordon, and then I saw HE IS 16 yrs old.
How great for him and his family.
What a perfect Christmas present for them.
