I like that they moved Semin back to the second line to spread out the firepower. Not sure about Johnny should be sitting though. Perhaps he’s still nursing the hip.

Nice missed call by the refs. Time to revisit my favorite ref taunt: “I hope you die in a fire!”

Too bad Ovie got an own goal. Varley had a good game otherwise (except for the trapezoid violation).

Definately a cross-check against Semin. Glad the crowd laid into the ref, sometimes Caps crowds are too timid.
Looked like to me Semin just fell hard on the leg, didnt seem to twist it badly…hope that is the case.

Green said he hopes to practice tomorrow, but that he’s going to wait until he wakes up before making a call.
“I ain’t dead and it ain’t broken,” he said when I asked him if he could play Saturday in Philly.
