Well let’s get things started… GO CAPS! Johnny should be in net; he’s 7-0-1 at home with a 1.61 GAA and a .946 save percentage.

Eh, don’t waste your money on a dentist… a dab of white paint will do the trick. :)

Great idea! I hope they play like they did against Senators instead of what they looked like on Tuesday.
But more importantly, I hope you two aren’t suggesting marring your Ovi bobbleheads by filling in the missing tooth. That would be utter blasphemy.

I like that they moved Semin back to the second line to spread out the firepower. Not sure about Johnny should be sitting though. Perhaps he’s still nursing the hip.

What are they chanting after the no-calls on the Semin mugging?

  8. Nice missed call by the refs. Time to revisit my favorite ref taunt: “I hope you die in a fire!”
    Hope Semin’s OK.

Bill, it sounded like “Ref you suck,” but it was hard to tell. Maybe someone who’s there *cough*Chanuck*cough* can tell us.

And Brashear finally does what he was sent out there to do.
I love the fact the Caps have an enforcer.

Thank God! But Comcast’s camera work leaves something to be desired. I feel like I’m missing the important stuff.

I have to agree Sports Chick, it’s been really bad all year.
Also, can we not blow this?

So… Who got the Abuse of an Official call, and what did they say to draw it?
Hope Semin isn’t seriously injured. No chance that the league will review it and slap someone on the wrist.
Too bad Ovie got an own goal. Varley had a good game otherwise (except for the trapezoid violation).
But they spent too much time in the last 10 minutes trying to exact some revenge.

the chanting was indeed “ref you suck!” and they really did; that replay made me not want to know how semin is, i’m too afraid. Awesome game though, i hope varly is happy with his 2 games, cause i know the fans are :)

Definately a cross-check against Semin. Glad the crowd laid into the ref, sometimes Caps crowds are too timid.
Looked like to me Semin just fell hard on the leg, didnt seem to twist it badly…hope that is the case.
Any news an what happened to Green?

Per Tarik (I didn’t make it down to the locker room tonight):
Green said he hopes to practice tomorrow, but that he’s going to wait until he wakes up before making a call.
“I ain’t dead and it ain’t broken,” he said when I asked him if he could play Saturday in Philly.
