That was an awesome game! I was so hoping for Johnny to get a shutout but he’s been playing sooo awesome! I’ve always loved Johnny but now I’m truly enamoured. And how cool is it that Brett Leonhardt got to take warmups I’m so jealous! What a wacky night. It was soo cool seeing Varlomov on the jumbotron…when he smiled he just looked like he was eating it all up….there are just so many good feelings surrounding the team right now. I’m so excited right now!
Brett Leonhardt better not take things for granted… Tara Wheeler has him in her sights!
By the way, how many Caps made the jump directly to the NHL like Brett without ever playing in the Minors?
