The Organization's Awards Keep Coming

The Hershey Bears today learned that rookie left wing Oskar Osala has been named the Reebok Edge/AHL Rookie of the Month for November.

Osala, 20, scored 10 goals in 14 games during the month of November, helping Hershey achieve the top point total in the American Hockey League entering December. He notched his first AHL hat trick November 15 against the Philadelphia Phantoms.

Osala also enjoyed two different two-goal games during the month, scoring twice against the Phantoms on November 2 and two against the Binghamton Senators on November 26.  He was a fourth round selection (97th overall) by the Washington Capitals in the 2006 NHL Entry Draft, and enters play this week second in the AHL in goals (16), one behind teammate Alexandre Giroux.
