Great observation by our friend The Peerless today, noting that goaltender Simeon Varlamov recorded his first point as a North American pro in last night’s Hershey Bears game. Varlamov notched the assist on Kyle Wilson’s game-winning goal . . . oh yeah, and he recorded a 30-save victory too, 5-2 over the Philadelphia Phantoms.
The Bears host Bridgeport tonight in Hershey.
