Puck-stopping Miss America contestant and Miss Virginia 2008, Tara Wheeler, will join in the radio fun tonight by calling in to WTOP’s ‘Saturday Night Caps’ program near 6:30 this evening. Program host Jonathon Warner will be discussing the surging Caps, the Monday night arrival of the celebrated documentary ‘Pond Hockey’ in town, and chat puck with a couple of Caps’ bloggers (Eric McErlain and me) between 6:00 – 7:00.
It should be a fun lead-in to the Caps’ 7:00 rematch with the Devils in New Jersey.
Is this a gratuitous fluff file pursued merely for the opportunity to publish another one of Tara’s terrific photos? Actually, Tara is great fun to talk puck with, but yes.
