Hey it could be worse just look at other sports. NASCAR doesn’t even allow reporters to write stories live from the event. Their blogging policy is even more atrocious from what I understand. Sports teams will have to get used to blogging as a form of citizen journalism because newspapers are beginning to pull the plug on the sports beats.

If I find myself in the “City of Champions” watching an Oilers game, I better make sure to clear any thoughts I develop while in the arena with Allan. The team may own the rights to my thoughts on the game.
Oh, and I’m sure that OFB is making a killing, with this whole blogging racket. Open up those books!

So, do they intend to go after live bloggers working from the comfort of their living room couches, the same way the recording industry goes after 10 year olds doing illegal downloads?
