Sadly, it’s already been a day of remarkable news — hockey lost talented Russian prospect Alexei Cherapanov earlier today. The 19-year-old collapsed and lost consciousness moments after a collision with teammate Jaromir Jagr in a KHL game, and was pronounced dead at a hospital approximately an hour later.
