i wish we could stroll around the concourse over the first few games and hand people printouts of this story that includes an address/account to donate to, but i’m sure that would cross the legal boundaries of “solicitation”. too bad, this guy deserves our help and i’d gladly buy him a brewski if i ever see him in the beer line. the engraved prostehetic is an unbelievably cool idea, it’s my desktop background now. Wow. Just WOW. This is an incredible story, and I can’t wait for Part II tomorrow. I’ll have more to say when I see how it ends.

How did you meet him?
This is a tremendous story, brilliantly told. Even with only part I to digest, its likely the most moving piece I’ve read on OFB, or on any Capitals blog for that matter.
