It's SRO for a September Rookie Camp Scrimmage

A cursory visit to the Caps’ web site informs of September 18th’s Rookie Camp scrimmage against the Flyers being sold out. Could tickets for the 3:00 scrimmage actually make it to craigslist or eBay? (Not yet) It’d be nice to see Kettler that day as red as Verizon Center was for the Flyers’ playoff visits back in April. ¬†
The scrimmage concludes Rookie Camp, with veterans reporting the next day and on-ice drills commencing on Saturday, September 20.

Took long enough for the tickets to be snagged up. The RSVP link was active as late as last night.

No, I think it’s fairly meaningful that you have that many folks on a work day at 3:00 p.m. who will sign-up and watch the rookies. If you missed it, the final rookie scrimmage last July was in a completely packed house. Not sure if the Caps will allow us to stand around the glass like we did that Saturday. These refs will likely be “real NHL refs”.
We’ve got some amazing talent in the pipeline. It should be great fun.
