@Grooven: Probably not, as the Veep doesn’t have an office in the White House. However, he does have one right next door, at the Old Executive Office Building (or did, during G.H.W. Bush’s admin (for Veep Quayle, and I suspect that hasn’t changed). But why build a new rink? Just give the street hockey games that take place on Pa. Ave. at night some more exposure.
Rumor has it that sometimes, at night when they’re bored, the Secret Service will flip the sirens on their cruisers on when someone scores.
