Just out of curiosity, which team is Dovgan training for? The Caps or his Russian team?
Picture two is even funnier if you hum the Safety Dance.
Picture is the Riverdance rehersal
As a female caps fan….oh my! *fans herself*
If you haven’t already, check out the comparison in physique between Ovie and Backstrom:

Yikes.
I heard that the hurdle stretch that OV is doing is hard on the knees as it opens up the knee joint too much and puts pressure on it. Has anyone else heard that? Or is my info faulty?
@ busrider: Yeah, I’ve heard that too — though that may just be something to avoid for us older and/or less athletic folks. And IIRC it’s lying down from that hurdle-stretch position that’s the really bad thing to do, but I’m no expert.
@ Pepper: Ha! Yeah, Nicky should cut back on the Royales with Cheese. Though to be fair, comparing to linebacker-esque Ovechkin is kind of a high standard.
