The Men with Tonight's Whistles

Paul Devorski and Don Koharski.
You didn’t really think it would be easy tonight, did you?
Koharski, incidentally, worked the Caps-Flyers’ game 7¬†of 1988.

“Last night’s Game 6 telecasts on Comcast SportsNet Philadelphia & Comcast SportsNet Mid-Atlantic attracted a combined peak audience of 436,500 households and averaged 320,000 households , setting new records ratings for the Caps in Washington DC and Baltimore on Comcast SportsNet and our predecessor network. It was the highest rated Flyers game in four years since the May 4, 2004 round two game 6 against Toronto.”

Still a great game, a lot of teams have a lot to worry about. Thanks Ted. Goodnight.

And easy it was not, especially when the referees forgot the last part of rule 57.1:
“If, in the opinion of the referee, a player makes contact with the puck first and subsequently trips the opponent in so doing, no penalty shall be assessed.”
They missed it, just plain missed it.
