Imagine how lucky we’ll feel if the Caps earn a regulation tie, and the place starts celebrating before OT even starts.

The last time I was in overdrive-excitment about a game, some guys named Juneau, Bellows and Dahlen were on the roster

Not only Lady Luck, but my son added it to his bedtime prayers last night, “…and please Dear God, let the Caps make it to the playoffs!” Even my daughter is donning her Caps shirt for the day! :)

This is going to be a great game! I hope they come out with a little more energy then they did with the Lightning. Has anyone heard of whether or not the Caps orginazation is going to do something special in the community if we win the division…or should I say when we win the division!

The anticipation is killing me. I know for a fact, that around 9:30ish tonight, Caps fans will have a reason to celebrate. Rejoice, we are going to make it to the Cup semi-finals.

The only team I’d feel worse about them playing tonight would be Pittsburgh. It seems like Florida has owned the Caps the past few years. (Sorry, I’m already in Eeyore mode.)

And if they win, I’d much prefer Ottawa or the Rangers to Boston or Philadelphia…

The old Skool Caps fan in me is freaking out right now. This is a recipe for a let down.

Luckily, this team isn’t the Old Skool Capitals.

This team is something special. And damn it, I BELIEVE!

  11. LETS GO CAPS - Hope they come out flying and get two points in regulation - I know my adrenilian is rushing - stay loose boys and play your game. In words from “Any Given Sunday”:

Tony D’Amato: I’ll tell you this, in any fight it’s the guy whose willing to die whose gonna win that inch. And I know, if I’m gonna have any life any more it’s because I’m still willing to fight and die for that inch, because that’s what living is, the six inches in front of your face. Now I can’t make you do it. You’ve got to look at the guy next to you, look into his eyes. Now I think ya going to see a guy who will go that inch with you. Your gonna see a guy who will sacrifice himself for this team, because he knows when it comes down to it your gonna do the same for him. That’s a team gentlemen, and either, we heal as a team, or we will die as individuals. That’s football guys, that’s all it is. Now what are you gonna do?”

Caps: If you do that “Voodoo, you do, and have been doing, so well of late” - they’ll be no reason for us to worry. Play your game and LETS GO CAPS!!!!!

This reminds me of when I was 10 and the Hartford Whalers clinched the Adams division championship. The only thing is that this is THE last game of the season and if they don’t get the point they’re not in the playoffs. I would say this is cooler!!! GO CAPS!
