Carolina. Then more of the same vs. Florida. The Panthers are off Thursday get Carolina on Friday, followed by a game in Washington. So on two occasions, the Canes face a rested opponent and the Caps get them the following night. Let’s do this.

    JR,
I was watching the end of the Canes/Bolts game and the Canes announcers were mentioning that very quirk. Let’s hope it works in the Caps favour.

Love John Erskine, but Cats’ color commentator Denis Potvin was 100% right on the last call against the Cats. Erskine turned on that guy at the last second. Cheesy way to draw a penalty.

The Caps had better start moving the puck on the PP. If Green isn’t standing at the point holding the puck, Backstrom is standing around with it. Most good PP teams never stop the puck for long. PP is not good and could end up being the Caps’ undoing. Let’s hope not.
