Never mind that the shirt is ugly and full of logos, but it’s just silly. I don’t need a shirt signifying a goal scoring record. I wonder if Ovechkin approves of this…
I’m waiting until AO is done before I buy a tee shirt!
What’s most bizarre about the shirt is the “2007-2008 TEAM RECORD” bit. Do they make T-shirts for every team’s leading goal scorer, every season? If so, where was last year’s? What about OV’s rookie year? Heh.
I really like how the RBK logo is above everything. Makes it appear like Alex plays for Team RBK and who cares about the caps logo at the bottom.
Prediction — For all the reasons above, no one will buy this shirt. Therefore, years from now, it will become a collector’s item, commemorating the two days that OV was a 61-goal-scorer.
