Having been a Capitals fan for over thirty years, I am used to resigning myself to thinking of the long term -- the Caps are building or rebuilding. This year, however,I am so pleased with the team's progress that I already consider this season a success and anything further will be gravy. The excitement of this season has been heightened by the explosion of information and opinion on websites, blogs, XM radio,tv, and other media. I have attended Caps games since the first season and I am excited as I have ever been, including the team's Stanley Cup finals attempt. What a great time to be a Caps fan!!
