A hot dog eating contest took place during tonight’s second intermission, with contestants from several local colleges. Sonya the “Black Widow” Thomas, one of the top-ranked competitive eaters in the world, was on hand to train the contestants taking part in the challenge. The student who ate the most hot dogs won a pair of round-trip tickets on Southwest Airlines to celebrate spring break anywhere Southwest flies.
