I can’t believe the Senators’ blogers are blaming Emery for that goal!
Nice to see Semin have a very good game and not have to rely on the top line all the time especially with Ottawa focusing its top pairing dmen on AO’s line.
I just can’t come up with any other way to describe that play except…sick. I said it last night at the game, my dad continued to say it every time we saw the replay on the jumbotron, and even Ovie said it after the game. Sick sick sick. And a thing of beauty.
That’s why I have a Semin jersey. As much as I love Ovie’s more consistently stellar play on both ends of the ice, Semin’s occasional flashes of skill, like what we saw last night, are sometimes just incomprehensible.
They’ve added a “Hits of the week” compilation in front of the Semin goal video. Checked it out and there’s a Kris Beech sighting somewhere in the top 3. Of course, it’s Beech on the receiving end of the hit…
I mistakenly linked to the “Hockey Feed” and not the Semin goal feed. It is now corrected and you won’t have to look for the goal video.
