This video’s been making the blog rounds lately, but I figured it was an ideal reminder of why hockey jerseys should never, EVER be tucked in.
Why could I easily see Jagr, Avery, Shanahan, and Drury in the modern-day version of this commercial?
(Be sure to check out the second commercial featuring the same guys over at YouTube.)
Thanks to Capsaholic for the heads-up.

Let me know if anyone can dig up the version that four members of the same era Caps did…trivia question: name those Caps!
argh, I knew that video was making the rounds, but until now I had avoided it; memories I didn’t need …
no one asked, but it’s Anders Hedberg, Phil Esposito, Dave Maloney and Ron Duguay
the second version Don Maloney added, Ron Duguay and the hair deleted
oops, I guess I could have typed the names in order based on the picture showing:
Anders Hedberg, Ron Duguay, Phil Esposito, Dave Maloney
i wonder if the flyers ever did a commercial like this
That was frightening.
Andrew—The Caps in the jeans commercial were Mike Gartner, and I forget who else…how about some clues? Anyone else remember? What I do remember is how my friends and I went around making the “OK” sign and doing hockey stops…laughed our @$$es off! We were about 13 years old of course…
Those ladies in the 2nd commercial sure seem impressed by the Rangers’ overt flamboyance.
