Per a report on TSN:
“NHL Network today announced it has reached a one-year extension for broadcast rights to American Hockey League (AHL) games. The broadcast package provides NHL Network, in both Canada and the U.S., with 20 ‘Game of the Week’ match-ups, airing Thursdays at 7 p.m. ET throughout the remainder of the regular season.”
The Hershey Bears will be shown twice with both games in February starting with the game where no love will be lost on Valentine’s Day at the Baby Pens.

Yeah…great. Wonder if they will beat the .1 rating the NHL games are getting.
That’s nice. How many AHL teams get left out. Whoever picked the games to be included sure loves Rochester & Lake Erie - 6 games each. Still a good news overall though.

those are two games for which I don’t have tickets.
I’m amazed that the Philly and Toronto teams can draw given the NHL competition. Though maybe it’s a great product for the price - great news about the NHL Network - look forward to catching a game or two.
The Toronto team doesn’t draw; the attendance at Ricoh is horrible.
How can they not show Chicago, who is undefeated, and always one of the best teams in the AHL?
About not showing Chicago Wolves games, my guess is it relates to broadcasting rights since the Wolves televise their games; I believe on Comcast.
Glad to see NHL Network is doing this again; I was jealous last year of our Canadian friends who had this available last year. FWIW, the games are tape delayed, but still a great opportunity to see prospects from other teams, etc.
