Two No.1 Teams in the State of Ohio

Killer Behind the Bench

Looks like fiery leadership behind the bench of the Central Hockey League’s Youngstown Steelhounds. Killer’s charges are out of the gate in fantastic fashion, unbeaten in regulation play through eight games and leading the CHL’s Northeast Division.

We thought our readers, like us, needed a dose of good news at this point in the season.

There are actually 3 No. 1 teams in Ohio. Miami University’s Redhawks are currently ranked number one in the spectrum of college hockey.–Not that that has anything to do with the Caps nor this blog.

  4. Daniel: Right you are! My Dayton Flyer-biased apologies to the Red Hawks and their fans. I owe you a Skyline four-way.

Yay! Killer was always one of my favorite Caps back in the day. Good to see him having success!

    Mmmm Skyline.

Hopefully after going 1-1 against Notre Dame the Redhawks will hold on to the #1 slot.

Yes, they have a home rink–but unbelievably their first 14 games are on the road. As of this writing they have traveled over 6,000 miles and are leading the league at 10-0-1, and they lead the league in PIMS as well. Their first home game is November 23rd.
