I remember a stat several years ago that somewhere about 40% of NHL fans were women. And, by personal observation only, I’ve noticed that hockey is much more of a couples spectator sport than other “major” sports. So I’m surprised too of the need to reach out.
But a unique event to give fans of any sort a “backstage” perspective is certainly welcome and fun.

When I read the description of that women I could hear the voice of Tammy Pescatelli saying “Because she’s a whore!” But, I’m sure she’s a fine person. Bet she’s got mile high hair though.
