It was a privilege to know Brian, as he was a smart and supportive coach and an all-around generous man. I'm glad I had the chance to see him this past November at the Springbrook Alumni game. He will be greatly missed by me and everyone involved in hockey around the region. My best wishes go out to the entire Melnick family.
