   This design is still much better than that vomit-inducing Buffaslug. We don’t have a classic logo like Boston or Montreal to work with here . . . so given that, this new jersey rates pretty well with me.

   Also, I’m pretty sure the blue is indeed brighter in person (which we’ll find out tonight) and just looks almost-black in the photo.

    I agree with what J.P. wrote in his blog about the Caps needing to change their mantra to “We Build Excitement”. Either way, the new digs represent a contemporary, albeit simple design, and that may be challenging for some hockey fans.
    I will miss neither the dome logo, nor the color scheme on the eagle jersey. I liked the original digs, but this is a refreshing update. The white is most pleasing to my eye, but I think red might best weather a night of pizza sauce and other shrapnel. We’ll see how the $$$ shakes out.
