I think the Post clearly misjudges interest in hockey. Between the Capitals’ 21st Century performance nadir and the wealth of New Media competition, people aren’t going to waste their time writing letters to the Post when it’s clear they are convinced they shouldn’t bother with the NHL. But if the Post did make a more fair effort with hockey, I think they would see there are readers out there who would appreciate and patronize their coverage. Particularly if the Capitals start to generate some on-ice success soon.

The file is now fixed. I usually upload and link by hand. This time I tried it via WordPress and had problems.

The spam protection may need javascript active. It sure has cut down on the comment spam, but I don’t want it to hinder our readers from commenting.
