What's all the crying about, the Post has generously given Tarik all of cyberspace to write whatever and whenever he wants about the Caps. I'm sure that's what his editors say to him when he asks for a little space in the ink version of the paper.

Imagine that Tariq can't find anything in Caps land to write about. How about you write about hockey. Talk to Ted about the $$ he shelled out to sent reporters to Moscow. The Post and Times just irritate the Pi$$ out of me.

glad that the post could find room for a full-page WNBA preview today. It's not like that could have been used for stanley cup coverage.

BTW, I was glad to hear how frustrated Tarik was over his inability to cover the playoffs.

A morning message received from Ballston:

"[The Post's] May 16 file on Backstrom came exactly one month to the day after [a] previous bylined Caps file, a small piece . . . on the raising of ticket prices. In between, you had a bit on Ovie's suspension, which was buried in the notes section of the paper with all matters of tennis and tiddlywinks; no byline on that one.

I would bet serious money that the 30 days between those two files is the longest the Post has ever gone between running Caps pieces in the
franchise's history. This would include two lengthy lockouts and 30-some offseasons.

For shame."
