[...] My fiancee Adrienne and I popped into the locker room area for a quick look. I posted a few locker room photos from my visit in April, but the “card wall is something I’d missed photographing on that first trip. The glass wall separating the player’s lounge from a hallway is covered in slightly-enlarged reproductions of classic Capitals hockey cards on both sides. Click the photo below for a larger version and pick out your favorites. [...]

[...] The meeting, which lasted nearly two hours (altogether pleasant and too fast), adjourns, and before OrderedChaos and I can convene our own strategy session at Bailey’s across the street (the “meeting being euphemism for “this is really happening and we’re drinking tall drafts to celebrate it), I ask Vogel to lead my bloggermate on a tour of the new offices as he did for me the previous Friday.
The theater room is great -- like a miniature movie theater that seats about 40 people. But no screen was yet setup, so I didn't take a photo.

The Caps' locker room is also impressive: beautiful wood locker stalls, engraved metal nameplates, and very spacious. But it was empty except for Chris Clark and Brian Pothier's equipment (they're training for the World Championships in Moscow), so I didn't take a photo of the overall room.

By the way, the facility has seven additional locker rooms, most of which are available for use by teams that rent the complex for rec games or beer leagues. So there will be plenty of room for all the prospects at training camp.

I may have a photo of Clark's locker; I'll check tonight and post it as a comment if I have a decent image.
