And Nate Ewell, you’re not allowed to play.

The whole Frozen Four weekend was one of surprises. North Dakota’s Ryan Duncan took home the Hobey Baker on Friday.

I’m a Spartan alum and didn’t see it coming.
I have to say the frozen four was fantastic this year. I didnt see the Maine vs MSU game, but the ND/BC game and I must say I was speechless.
The MSU/BC game was a fitting finale. I could feel MSU’s excitement, and BC heartbreak.
Wow I miss ESPN doing hockey…
This MSU alum was at the game, and it was, hand down, the greatest game/event Ive ever been at in my life. Ive been to the hoops Final 4 (rooting on my other alma mater, Syracuse), at 2 BCS bowl games (for SU), the Caps SCF, and others. But this game was the best.
MSU came from nowhere to win the title, and thats the best feeling in the world. And when they were losing 1-0 with 10 mins left, I was wondering if they would even get one. And to win with 19 seconds left…well, I was speechless…
GO GREEN! GO WHITE! GO STATE!
I still haven’t gotten over that horrific ref call on UND’s Finley in the 3rd against BC….
