Hey! Wow! I cant believed you used my air drumming video! i feel so privelidged! :D. I didnt know it was any good to anyone, I now see that its quite a use to people. I will be bringing more, dont worry, just search "jamiemate" on youtube, thats me :P. Yes, i am quite the rush fan, and i love to put some rush on and air drum... took me 2 days to get that, if you were wondering :P. Well, you can see my email address, have any requests, just ask, or you could even add me on msn as its the same address.

Thanks again! :D

PS. That kid in the vid was pretty darn good, especially considering how new the song is. We know what he's been doing all week. I'll wager more people have air drummed (or tried to) to Rush than any other band. Peart is the pooh!

Ahhh, the memories.
Rush is the only band I stood in ticket lines for. A bit frustrating to get to the counter and see how fast the really good seats went. Also, how long it took the slow *@&#$%# employees to FINALLY open the doors. lol
Can't say I really miss it though.

Excellent article! I found your page from a link on another hockey site, and unexpectedly saw this article on Rush, also my all time favourite band (especially since I'm a Torontonian). Well, not on Rush exactly, but on the "ignorance of youth". It brought back memories!
Well written, a joy to read. Thanks!

Right on brother! I feel sorry for the kids today and poor quality of music and musicianship out there. Every summer we could look forward to concerts from a variety of bands touring the country, today you have a plethora of one hit wonders that here today gone later today. They learn to make noise and forget to learn their instruments. Bands of the late 60's through the 80's were musicians and grew to produce great music that still stands the test of time.
